Whit SlocumVice President, Shareholder
Whit is a Vice President in the Corporate Finance Group of Chaffe & Associates. Based in New Orleans, he specializes in valuations, company sales, buy-side advisory, and capital raises, having provided these services across a wide range of industries. With over 15 years of financial services experience, Whit works with public and private strategic and financial buyers, as well as capital providers across the world to structure transactions. Whit is involved in all aspects of a sale or capital raise, from the development of transaction marketing materials through the structuring and negotiation of purchase and financing agreements. Focused almost exclusively on lower-middle-market Gulf South companies, Whit has been involved in completed M&A and debt financing transactions valued at over $1 billion with clients ranging from founder-led and family-owned companies to publicly traded corporations.
Whit is a member of Chaffe’s Fairness Opinion Committee. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Slocum was an Associate Director in UBS’s Fund Services Department at the Wealth Management home office in New Jersey.
