Mr. Busenlener is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), accredited by the American Institute of CPAs in business valuation (ABV); an attorney (JD); an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP) by the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils; and an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with the American Society of Appraisers.
After interning with Chaffe & Associates, Inc. in 2001, he became an associate in 2006. As a Vice President, his duties include the performance of business research and valuations of privately held partnership, limited liability company, and corporate ownership interests.
Mr. Busenlener graduated from the Florida State University Honors and Scholars program, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in 1998. Continuing at Florida State University, he joined the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society and obtained a Masters in Accounting, specializing in Taxation, graduating magna cum laude in 1999. In 2002, he graduated from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University with a Juris Doctor and Bachelors of Civil Law.
He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Judge John C. Boutall American Inn of Court, Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA), the American Society of Appraisers, and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
