Chaffe & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce Keith LeBlanc has joined the Mergers & Acquisitions team as a Managing Director

Mr. LeBlanc brings a wide range of operational and financial experience in the healthcare industry spanning over 30 years. As the former Chief Executive Officer of several healthcare companies, he has a unique client perspective as well as broad contacts within the industry, private equity and other financing sources.

Mr. LeBlanc began his career as a registered respiratory therapist and cardiopulmonary technologist. After showing tenacity and a knack for leadership, he quickly rose the ranks to Chief Executive Officer of Humana Hospital of New Orleans by the time he was 30 years old. This transition propelled him on the path to several senior leadership positions in organizations serving various sectors of healthcare including ambulatory surgery centers urgent centers, outpatient imaging, as well as revenue cycle and billing solutions, and multi-site IT and clinical systems.

Mr. LeBlanc’s leadership positions at healthcare facilities piqued his interest in the financing and sale of businesses. Mr. LeBlanc arranged the refinancing and sale of SurgiCare, Inc., an AMEX-listed outpatient surgical center business where he served as Chief Executive Officer, and was the founder of Quest Practice Management, a 50/50 joint venture with independent physicians. He co-founded Millennium Healthcare and served as their Chief Executive Officer, growing a single urgent care and occupational healthcare clinic to multiple locations throughout Louisiana, before selling to one of the largest local hospitals.

Mr. LeBlanc then joined the Gulfstar Group, Investment Bankers as Managing Director leading their healthcare transactions section. He currently serves as a Board Advisor to Southstar Urgent Care as well as a Trustee to the Urgent Care Association (UCA) Foundation Board. UCA is the largest international urgent care trade and professional organization.
